A tinkerer at heart. I spent my time at college diving deep into Math and CS theory because I believe you have to understand how a system works before you can truly master it. I’ve always been obsessed with the 'how,' so I spend my own time opening up software, kernels, and networks just to see how they tick. I’m fascinated by automation; if I can script a task to save someone else time, I will. I’m a self-taught explorer who isn't afraid of a steep learning curve—if there’s a problem I don’t know how to fix yet, I’ll stay up as long as it takes to find the answer.
Latest fascination:
Security. I'm still learning the ropes, but I’m constantly following the latest news and stress-testing my own setups.

Lead a student team in resolving hardware and software issues for the department. Along with daily support, I worked on the migration to Debian Linux and used Python to automate our metric collection.

Technical Support Specialist
St Olaf College - IT | 2023 - 2024
Managed support tickets and helped students and staff with hardware and software problems. I also managed the campus hardware inventory and wrote technical documentation so others could solve similar issues later.
Helped students with logic gates and assembly language. I assisted with debugging their code and lead workshops to explain how the hardware works and how to apply the concepts in practice.
